Why Azure Is the Cloud Platform of Enterprise India

AWS may lead globally, but in India's enterprise and BFSI sector — where the highest-paying cloud jobs live — Microsoft Azure is the dominant platform. HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Tata Group, Infosys, and thousands of Microsoft 365 enterprise customers run on Azure. If you want to work in banking, insurance, government, or large enterprise IT, Azure skills are not optional — they are mandatory.

Azure's Unique Advantage in Indian Industry

India's banking sector — HDFC, ICICI, Axis, SBI, Kotak — has overwhelmingly chosen Azure as their primary cloud. The reason is Microsoft's hybrid cloud capability: most Indian banks still have significant on-premise infrastructure, and Azure Arc and Azure Stack give them the smoothest path to cloud migration without abandoning existing investments.

The Indian government's Digital India initiative, the Ministry of Finance, and several state governments run on Azure. This means the demand for Azure professionals spans IT companies, BFSI, government digital initiatives, and the massive Microsoft partner ecosystem — Accenture, Infosys, Wipro, HCL, and Capgemini all have dedicated Azure practices hiring constantly.

What Our Azure Students Say

★★★★★

"I was an on-premise Windows Server admin for 4 years and worried about losing my job to the cloud. After Aapvex's Azure course I cleared AZ-104 on my first attempt and moved into a cloud admin role at Capgemini with a ₹4 LPA hike. The VNet and Active Directory modules were directly applicable to real work from day one."

V
Vikram Deshmukh Azure Cloud Administrator, Capgemini Pune
★★★★★

"The Azure DevOps and Bicep modules at Aapvex are outstanding. My trainer had real-world Azure DevOps project experience and the labs were based on enterprise scenarios — not toy examples. I'm now working on Azure DevOps pipelines for a major bank migration project."

P
Priya Iyer Azure DevOps Engineer, Infosys
★★★★★

"I specifically targeted BFSI because Azure is the bank cloud. Cleared AZ-104 and then AZ-305 within 5 months of finishing the Aapvex course. The architecture module is what made the difference — learning hub-spoke networking, landing zones, and RBAC governance at scale. Now designing infrastructure for one of India's largest banks."

R
Rohit Kulkarni Azure Solutions Architect, HDFC Bank IT
★★★★★

"I joined as a .NET developer wanting to go cloud-native. The App Service, Functions, and Cosmos DB modules are brilliantly taught. The trainer showed us how to migrate a traditional SQL Server + IIS app to Azure — exactly what I needed for my role. The AZ-204 mock tests were harder than the actual exam which meant the real exam felt easy."

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about the Microsoft Azure course at Aapvex, Pune.

What is the fee for the Azure course at Aapvex, Pune? +

The Azure course fee starts from ₹15,999. Zero-cost EMI is available over 3–6 months. Call 7796731656 or WhatsApp us for current batch pricing, early-bird discounts, and EMI details. Fees include live lab access, course material, and mock certification tests.

Which Azure certification should I target first — AZ-900, AZ-104, or AZ-204? +

AZ-900 (Azure Fundamentals) is ideal if you have no prior cloud experience or come from a non-technical background — it is the entry certificate that proves cloud literacy. AZ-104 (Azure Administrator) is the recommended first serious certification for IT professionals — it opens the most job doors. AZ-204 (Developer) is for developers who want to build on Azure. Our course prepares you for all three.

Do I need Microsoft 365 knowledge before joining the Azure course? +

No prior Microsoft 365 or Azure experience is required. We cover Azure Active Directory (now called Microsoft Entra ID) and its relationship with Microsoft 365 as part of the course. Basic Windows computer skills are all you need.

Is Azure better than AWS for jobs in Pune? +

For Pune specifically, Azure is stronger in BFSI (banking, insurance), manufacturing, and large enterprise IT — which includes companies like KPIT, Tata Motors IT, and Capgemini. AWS is stronger for tech startups and product companies. If your target is a bank or large enterprise, Azure is the better first certification. If your target is a startup or DevOps role, AWS may be better. We offer both courses — call 7796731656 for a personalised recommendation based on your background.

Can I take this Azure course if I already know AWS? +

Yes — and you will progress significantly faster. Cloud concepts translate across platforms. We map AWS services to Azure equivalents (EC2 ↔ VM, S3 ↔ Blob, Lambda ↔ Functions, CloudFormation ↔ Bicep) so your existing knowledge accelerates your learning. Most AWS-certified professionals can complete AZ-104 preparation in half the time.

What is the difference between AZ-104 and AZ-204? +

AZ-104 (Azure Administrator) focuses on infrastructure management — VMs, VNets, storage, IAM, monitoring, and governance. It is the right cert for sysadmins, network engineers, and infrastructure professionals. AZ-204 (Azure Developer) focuses on building applications on Azure — App Service, Functions, Cosmos DB, API Management, and CI/CD. It is the right cert for software developers. If you are unsure, most people start with AZ-104.

Does the Azure course include live lab access on the Azure portal? +

Yes. Every module includes hands-on labs on a live Azure subscription. You work in the actual Azure Portal, use Azure CLI, and deploy real resources. Labs cover everything from deploying VMs and configuring VNets to building serverless functions and setting up CI/CD pipelines. All lab work uses Microsoft's free Azure trial credits.

What is the job market for Azure professionals in Pune? +

Pune has a strong Azure job market driven by Capgemini, Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Persistent Systems, KPIT, and the growing BFSI IT sector. Microsoft India also has a significant presence and partner network in Pune. Azure Administrator (AZ-104) certified professionals in Pune typically see salaries of ₹6–14 LPA at the mid-level. Azure Architects with AZ-305 command ₹18–28 LPA.

Is there placement support after the Azure course? +

Yes. Aapvex provides 100% placement support including cloud-specific resume writing (highlighting Azure certifications and projects), mock technical interview preparation (AZ-104 scenario questions), LinkedIn profile optimisation, and direct referrals to our hiring network in Pune. We have placed students at Capgemini, Infosys, KPIT, Wipro, and Azure-focused consulting firms.

How is the Azure course delivered — classroom or online? +

Both options are available. Classroom batches are held at our Pune training centre with live lab sessions. Online batches are delivered via Zoom with screen-sharing lab sessions and class recordings provided for review. The curriculum and trainer are the same for both formats. Students from outside Pune regularly join online batches.

What is the difference between Azure and Azure DevOps? +

Microsoft Azure is the cloud infrastructure and services platform (VMs, databases, networking, storage, AI, etc.). Azure DevOps is a specific set of tools within the broader Azure ecosystem for software development and deployment — including code repositories, CI/CD pipelines, and project management. Our Azure course covers both: the infrastructure platform and the Azure DevOps CI/CD toolchain.

Will I be able to pass AZ-104 after completing this course? +

Our AZ-104 pass rate among students who complete the course and take the mock exams is above 85% on the first attempt. The course includes two full mock tests aligned to the actual AZ-104 exam format, detailed walkthroughs of incorrect answers, and a personalised revision plan. The remaining students typically pass on their second attempt after targeted revision.

What projects will I build during the Azure course? +

You build 5 guided projects: (1) Deploy a scalable web application on Azure VMs with Load Balancer and Auto-scaling, (2) Build a 3-tier architecture with private VNet, App Service, and Azure SQL, (3) Create a serverless event pipeline with Azure Functions + Service Bus + Event Grid, (4) Deploy a containerised microservice on AKS with Ingress, and (5) Build a complete CI/CD pipeline using Azure DevOps deploying to App Service with Bicep IaC.

Can working professionals join the Azure course? What is the time commitment? +

Yes — our weekend batch is specifically designed for working professionals. Saturday and Sunday, 4 hours each day (8 hours per week total). With approximately 10–12 weeks of training, it fits comfortably alongside a full-time job. Many of our placed students were working when they joined.

Is Azure knowledge required for the AZ-900 exam? +

AZ-900 (Azure Fundamentals) is an entry-level exam that does not require hands-on Azure experience. However, we strongly recommend having lab experience before attempting even AZ-900 — understanding real service behaviour makes the multiple-choice questions significantly easier. Our course gives you both conceptual knowledge and practical exposure.
